Good design reduces effort.
Bad design locks you into constant correction.
There comes a moment in every architect’s career when aesthetics are no longer enough. That moment often arrives when landscapes fail.
This course was born from a frustration I know well: after my first Permaculture Design Certificate, I felt excited… but completely lost.
I realized I didn’t just want to grow food—I wanted to regenerate landscapes, restore biodiversity, and create space for life. Not only for my own land, but for schools, communities, and cities.
Who This Is For
Place-Makers & Urbanists ready to activate spaces beyond aesthetics
Architects & Designers wanting to integrate ecosystems into their projects
Landscapers & Garden Designers aiming to restore soils and biodiversity

About Soumia Masmoudi
Soumia Masmoudi is an explorer architect, fascinated by craft, hands-on experience, and the wisdom of nature. A passionate learner and cultural observer, she is deeply curious about how design can care for both people and the environment.
After completing her architecture studies, Soumia pursued further learning beyond traditional training, earning a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism. However, she quickly realized that true knowledge isn’t found solely in books, magazines, or 3D models—it is discovered in the field, through observation, interaction, and deep engagement with people and places.
Soumia believes that a sharp eye recognizes beauty before it formally appears and that "caring" is an essential function of architecture. This philosophy, combined with her mindful design approach, led her to integrate permaculture principles into her work, creating designs that are rooted in nature, deeply connected to culture, and beneficial for both people and the ecosystems they inhabit.
